Survey on TAT of korean Old Age


Abstract
TAT was administered to 48 normal Korean male subjects ranged in age from 41 to 55 in the author¢¥s method of scoring (presented in "A New Approach to TAT Analysis") and the conclusions were made as the following :
1) Tendency to withdraw from reality appeared stronger than aggressive attitude.
2) Most strongly manifested aspect in feeling scoring was anxiety and next came aggression, love and depression in order.
3) Strong aggression was traced out in the father-child realtionship and anxiety in the male-female and other human relationship along with strong aggression.
4) Tension was generally observed in the interpersonal relationship.
5) As the author presented in another paper that results obtained from Rorschach Test of Korean old age was corresponding with a conclusion obtained from the statistical survey of depression stating that
Korean old age have high incidence of depression, so should he state here that these TAT results were also corresponding with that conclusion.
